Parag Agrawal Dismissed Following Elon Musk’s Biography Unveiling Details of $44B Acquisition

According to The Wall Street Journal, which shared an excerpt from the biography, Musk was quite fond of Parag Agrawal before and after buying Twitter. In “Elon Musk,” Musk is quoted as saying, “He’s a really nice guy, but managers shouldn’t try to like him. Twitter needs a fire-breathing dragon, and Parag isn’t that.”

After becoming X’s new CEO in 2022 and becoming the “chief tweeter,” Musk criticized X’s efforts to limit free speech on the platform. He even said that “the bird has been released” after the acquisition of Twitter and the firing of Parag Agrawal and others.

As for Walter Isaacson, his X account suggests that he has been with Musk at X headquarters for some time. “In the Twitter HQ coffee shop @elonmusk,” Isaacson posted on X on October 27, 2022.
